I love the ministry I'm in because it is a multidimensional ministry that includes help, hospitality, and evangelism. What I love most about Twice Is Nice is that it is a place where patrons feel comfortable sharing their joys as well as their frustrations - a place where hope is very much alive.

My dream vacation is both energizing and restful. I envision a large home filled with people I love. Their laughter fills the rooms like beautiful music, and their faces are radiant with health. Outside there is a garden, breathtaking with vibrant color. We partake of delicious food and talk late into the night.

I recommend that you read this book: The Memory Keeper's Daughter. The author, Kimm Edwards, crafted for the readers' examination a story that illuminates the cost of lies told with "the best of intentions." It is a rich, compassionate tale of parallel lives haunted by their past.

One of my favorite animals is the cat. These delightful creatures are notoriously independent but make wonderful pets if they choose to adopt you.

Something most people don't know about me is that when eating, I prefer that the food on my plate be segregated. There are of course rare exceptions, such as turkey and mashed potatoes (if and only if gravy is on both). Veggies need to remain pure - they don't belong in a casserole.
