The Web Team Ministry spreads the Word through the use of technology. All aspects of Sauk Valley Community Church’s online presence are managed by this ministry.

Creating and maintaining a relevant church website is something that a single person cannot effectively do alone. That is why in late 2008, we created the Sauk Church Web Team. This team started with the vision that we wanted to be able to have an area that would serve internally and externally. We didn’t want a website that is just for people trying to find information out about our church. And we didn’t want a website that was just information for the people already attending Sauk Valley Community Church. We wanted… well… we wanted both! We feel that we have accomplished that with this website. We have trusted God through the journey of creating this team and website and we will continue to follow him on future phases of the website.

Our Web Team is not a staff of paid workers – we are volunteers. And we all have different skill sets that when combined together really operate well. Some of us are more technical, some of us are more creative and others are people that come up with great ideas and inspirations. They key operating mode for our team is very similar to how our church functions as a whole. It’s not one person that does everything. It’s the group that does the work and everyone does their part to see the end goal accomplished. It is a very dynamic team model that has worked out very well for us.
